Eureka!

I was just experimenting and messing around in Autodesk Sketchbook, and I actually managed to figure out a coloring style that works for me! It's all about practice and making progress!

Piebald Camel

Another experiment in the new painting technique. I think I'm getting the hang of this! I'm having fun with it at least.

Painting Experiment

I decided to try a little experiment with a new digital painting style. I think I'm going to keep practicing with it for a special project I have in mind...

Journal Cover

I'm taking a 2-d design class semester and our very first assignment is to make a personalized cover for our binders. Ain't being an adult grand? :)

Quick Sketchdump

The great thing about sketchbooks is that you can fill the pages with whatever you want, and you can be as rough and loose with your drawings as you want.

Cactus Cat

Of all the cryptids out there, one of my favorites is the semi-ridiculous Cactus Cat from the American southwest. According to travelling cowboys, cactus cats looked like either bobcats or cougars made out of cacti. Supposedly they would only come out at night, and when they did they would find a large cactus and slice it open with their claws to let the sap run out. Then the cats would come back later to drink the fermented juices and just kinda...wander around in a drunken state.
This character was a lot of fun to design and draw, and I'd definitely like to do more with him in the future.
